My Story

I certainly never followed a traditional career path but it has been fun, challenging,  thrilling and at times terrifying.

I have been fortunate to have always done work I loved, collaborated with people I admired, worked with clients that mattered and enjoyed many adventures along the way.

I have worked with top CEOs, game-changing entrepreneurs, boards, SMEs, large corporations, partnerships, and government agencies.

My experience was gained across a number of sectors (real estate, construction, international economic development, financial services, asset management, food and beverage, design, technology, and franchising); countries (Ireland, US, Middle East and Asia) and cultures (creative agencies, professional firms, high-profile start up, corporate giants and SMEs)

Having been a partner in a business I founded in New York City, I have developed strong commercial acumen and know what it’s like to have ‘skin in the game’.

The journey that began some 30 years ago has culminated in my being able to bring  a unique perspective to clients – helping them connect the dots to drive commercial collaboration and grow their businesses.

In 1985 I moved from Dublin to New York City and I was soon hired by global marketing agency Porter Novelli, where my clients included Fortune 500 companies like Casio and Philip Morris International. I then moved to a smaller agency and doubled its billing in four years, before starting my own sales and marketing agency in New York City from 1991 - 2000. At that point, American Express hired me to helm a $10 million project at the 2000 Sydney Olympics.

Since returning to Ireland in 2002,  I have provided business development consulting services to top Irish and global companies. Most recent assignments, have included working with PwC Ireland, William Fry Solicitors, and I was responsible for the international roll out of ConnectIreland, a government-incentivised economic development programme.

Over the course of my career, I have worked with companies such as Aer Rianta International, KPMG, Diageo, Dairygold, IDI International, The Real Estate Regulatory Authority of Bahrain,  Akzo Nobel, Bennett Construction, O’Dwyer Real Estate Management and Sherry FitzGerald/Cushman Wakefield.

I also serve as a mentor to start-ups for Enterprise Ireland  and Intertrade Ireland.

I graduated from University College Dublin with a  BA in Languages and from Dublin Institute of Technology with  a BSc in Property Economics.

It still feels as if the the journey has just begun………….

The privilege of a lifetime is to become who you truly are.
